Want to call API from Notion? You can do it two ways:

  1. Use the recently released native Notion Actions
  2. Use the following Notion Hook Chrome extension to trigger events from your browser

Method 1 - Notion Actions

Use the Notion Actions feature to place button in Notion page or database to run automations. Build the API on BuildShip to create an API endpoint that will be called by Notion Action button to trigger the API / webhook.

Step 1: Place a button on Notion, just like the one shown below. This button can be placed on a page, database etc.

Method 2 - Notion Hook Chrome Extension
